  Domestic Disturbance
Training Day

A pilot in real life, John Travolta obviously likes to let his recreation affect his work. He’s been on auto-pilot for years. Nowhere moreso than in “Domestic Disturbance”, where—rather ungenerously for the ticket-buying public—his indifference seems to have inspired the rest of the cast to flip their switches as well. Not that the cast had much to work with. Suspense, thrills, or chills are not to be found in the script. At a mere ninety minutes, the filmmakers probably thought they were streamlining it for maximum thrills. Instead they got minimum interest—pure boredom from titles to trademarks.
